PB & Strawberry Chia Jam Sandwich




Ingredients:

1/2 tbsp. chia seeds

2 oz. of water

8 frozen strawberries, thawed

1/4 tsp. orange zest

1 slice of whole grain bread

1 tbsp. raw natural peanut butter or almond butter




Directions:

1. Combine chia seeds with water in a bowl. Whisk vigorously for 30 seconds and set aside for 20 minutes until a gel is formed.

2. Mash the strawberries with a fork. Add the orange zest and mix together.

3. Combine gel chia seeds with the strawberries.

4. Spread 1 tbsp. of nut butter on a slice of toast. Add 2 tbsp. of jam. Top with secons slice of toast if you choose. Enjoy!
