Pizza with Andouille, Roasted Peppers and Manchego
Ingredients:
*1-12 ounce pizza dough- purchased at local pizzeria or made from recipe on Weider site.
*additional flour
*cooking spray
*1 Tbsp. olive oil for brushing
*salt and ground pepper
*6 ounce thinly sliced andouille sausage- precooked
*3 ounce Manchego cheese- thinly sliced with vegetable peeler
*2 ounce Parmesan- thinly sliced with vegetable peeler
*Marinated Roasted Peppers- recipe on Weider Site.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
1. Gently roll pizza dough out with additional flour until thin. Spread evenly over a pizza round coated with cooking spray. Brush the outside edges of the dough with the olive oil.
2. Evenly coat with dough with a small amount of salt/pepper.
3. Spread slices of sausage over the dough so that the whole surface is covered.
3. Cover with Manchego Cheese and Marinated Roasted Peppers.
Bake for 14 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan after removing from the oven. Makes 8 slices.
